Medical Imaging: Welcome to the Radiology Center

Medical Imaging: Welcome to the Radiology Center is an interactive online program that allows children and teens to take a virtual tour of a radiology center and get a closer look at tests like X-rays, MRIs and CT scans.

Children are able to click on the machines to hear the actual sounds they make, view real results, and find out what to wear so they are more comftable during the test and don't have to put on a gown. Users also find tips for making time seem to pass more quickly during the test.

Children meet three characters in the waiting room and choose which character to join them on their tour.

Along the way, children find out what the medical team learns from each test, and the importance of complying with various requirements such as holding still and drinking contrast. After assisting each character to complete a procedure successfully, children view actual images.
